Alejandra Wiechers is a Storyboard Supervisor and Senior Storyboard Artist with over 13 years of international experience sitting at the intersection of emerging technology, creative craft, and game-making. Renowned for crafting high-quality cinematic storyboards that drive the narrative and visual direction of top-tier projects, she has expanded her expertise into a hybrid profile as a Creative Operations and Technical Supervisor. Throughout her career across AAA video games, film, and global entertainment, she has specialized in the operational health of cross-functional teams and the optimization of complex production pipelines.

In her supervisory roles, Alejandra has consistently excelled at translating creative ambition into operational reality. She has spearheaded organizational change management initiatives, resolving inter-departmental bottlenecks by partnering closely with IT and Engineering. Her technical innovations include implementing high-complexity pipeline integrations (such as AAF exchanges between Avid and Storyboard Pro) and developing custom code to automate lengthy workflows. She is highly recognized for executing workforce transformation strategies such as designing 3D technical training programs for 2D teams that successfully protect operational budgets, support capacity planning, and scale productions without increasing headcount.

Alejandra’s elite cinematic storyboarding and technical pre-visualization strategies have been fundamental to the narrative and visual success of some of the industry’s most globally acclaimed properties. Her ability to craft pivotal sequences, streamline processes, and ensure a high return on investment (ROI) on creative assets directly supported key milestones for the BAFTA-winning video game Dispatch, as well as Emmy Award-winning franchises like The Dragon Prince and Octonauts. As an independent director, her work has also earned official selection at the Cannes Film Festival.

Beyond production pipelines, Alejandra is deeply committed to cross-functional supervision and talent development. A recognized industry advocate, she served as the youngest representative on the board of directors for the Jalisco Institute of Information and Technology, and spent years mentoring the next generation of digital artists as a university instructor at Universidad Marista de Guadalajara and Universidad Panamericana (UP). At her core, Alejandra believes that teamwork is the ultimate driver of innovation; she thrives in environments where she can align diverse departments, troubleshoot structural roadblocks, and empower teams to deliver world-class experiences.
